Magnetrol International

Magnetrol relocated their worldwide headquarters to Aurora, Illinois to accommodate its more than 300 employees.  Chicago-based Krusinski Construction Company renovated this 250,000 square-foot building which required a significant electrical service upgrade, renovation of more than 60,000 square-feet of office space, conversion of warehouse space to manufacturing and production with multiple cranes, specific equipment exhaust and make-up air requirements.

Comcast Executive Briefing Center

High-end, state-of-the-art conference center for client presentations including smart glass technology, lighting control system for all lighting fixtures and smart glass controlled by iPad, continuous LED light ladder from room to room.

Flavorchem Corporation

Krusinski Construction Company renovated and expanded the existing building to support the liquid flavoring operation for Flavorchem Corporation.  The project included: construction of general office space, flammable warehouse, three production rooms, locker and break rooms, research and development labs and conference rooms. The scope also included establishing a link between two buildings on the campus.  The project achieved LEED Silver Certification.

Toyota Motor Sales USA

15,000 square-foot training facility includes 3 large training rooms and 12 training bays with specialty equipment for servicing cars, as well as support service areas for storage, break rooms and office. Will achieve LEED Silver designation.

KapStone Paper

The site work included shortening the rail spur and the addition of 5 dock doors and 4 rail doors. Meanwhile the interior build-out of the existing building consisted of a two-story office, additional electrical service upgrade and new warehouse lighting.  This facility is 192,000 sq.ft.

Follett Educational Services

This 9,000-square-foot high tech data center, designed to house some 200 servers and operate as a centralized data hub for more than six Follett companies includes:

• Installation of overhead floor membrane
• Installation of raised access floor system
• Installation of N + 1 configuration for major mechanical and electrical infrastructure components
• Installation of dual fire suppression system which included gaseous system supplemented with pre-action, double interlocked, dry-pipe sprinkler system
• Installation of dedicated redundant AC electrical power service with a UPS system and 5,000 gallon back-up generator for 24×7 facility operation
• Installation of complex HVAC system comprising four 20-ton units
• 800A master switch board with automatic transfer switch (ATS) by-pass
• Hydrogen detection system with exhaust fan link
• Six (6) CRAC units (Liebert)
• Four (4) 150Kva UPS units with wet cell batteries

Congregation B’nai Jehoshua Beth Elohim

The two-phase project involves the conversion of three single story office buildings into religious and multi-use facilities. Phase I consists of a new sanctuary, village community center, social hall, administrative support offices and a full-service kitchen. The sanctuary will feature 600 seats, cascading stairs/seating, a balcony and worship area. The social hall will seat up to 960 people for special religious ceremonies. The Village Community Center will be used as a central gathering place for reading, reflecting and community events. Phase II is the educational wing and will house the classroom and library.

Fortune 20 Company

The 416,000 square-foot distribution center including a 35,000 square-foot office sits on a 21-acre site. As a world leader in the distribution of pharmaceutical products, this Company has specific warehouse requirements such as temperature control, high security storage including a heavy-duty drug safe and automated material handling equipment. The distribution center features 240 parking stalls, 24 interior docks, 1 drive-in door and a 32-foot clear height. The new facility is a LEED certified building.
