Located in the heart of Cherry Creek, this project entailed demolition of the existing structure and building a new 27,500-square-foot mixed-use development.
The project features 11,000 square feet of prime retail space at street level, and 15,000 square feet of office space on the second and third floors. The third floor hosts the new offices of the Coors Foundation. Underground parking for 75 cars is also provided.
The project complies with the stringent Design Standards and Guidelines for Cherry Creek North. Additionally, the project is pursuing LEED Silver Certification.
The proposed project includes the demolition of an existing parking lot and two story concrete structures and the construction of a new concrete replacement building. The 202,103SF, 5-and-6-story, Class A office space will also include 1-story of below grade parking. The building will be arranged around a central courtyard, which splits the building into two masses connected by the core. The courtyard features a signature open glass rooftop canopy and outdoor seating with landscaping that will include a water feature and living greenery plant wall.
For Gottesman RTW Academy, a National Blue Ribbon School, IMC Construction built a new state-of-the-art facility that emphasizes sustainability. The new 17-acre campus exudes a green aesthetic. Birch trees planted between buildings bring the outdoors in, while glass walls allow visitors to see through the communal spaces and into the woods beyond.
The building also meets requirements for LEED Silver certification by incorporating rain gardens for storm water management, electric vehicle charging stations, and a full solar array producing more than 90 percent of the facility’s energy.
Located just two blocks from OSU, the Union provides housing for 221 students in 68 two- and four-bedroom units. On track to become Corvallis’ first LEED residence, the building was constructed with sustainable features such as operable windows, energy saving light fixtures and rain gardens. Each apartment is equipped with stainless steel appliances, a washer and dryer, and Ceasarstone counters. Building amenities include a deck with BBQ area, bocce ball court, edible gardens and covered bike parking.
Situated on an 11 acre site, this LEED Gold design/build armory and community center serves the Oregon Military Department and the 162nd Engineering division of the Oregon National Guard. The building is divided into three wings each with a distinct programmatic, security and thermal zone. Key components include a large assembly hall, administrative spaces, commercial kitchen, military storage, arms vault, weapons training simulator and an outbuilding for vehicle maintenance.
The project was the recipient of the DBIA Design Excellence Award, DBIA National Design/Build Award, National Design-Build Award for Civic Buildings, and AIA Regional Design Award.
This new electric and operations facility was constructed on a 55 acre site and houses 275 employees, a warehouse, vehicle shop, vehicle storage facility and materials storage yard. The LEED Gold certified project was subject to the new Oregon Department of Energy bill requiring 1.5 percent of public construction costs to be allocated to solar energy. It also incorporated solar water heating, an Eco Machine for treating wastewater onsite, photovoltaic energy and extensive daylighting.
The Downtown Campus is a landmark project, which has greatly contributed to the vitality of downtown Eugene. Housing 250 beds, the residential building is targeting LEED Gold while the 90,000 square foot academic building was built for LEED Platinum certification and includes state-of-the-art classrooms, lecture halls, and an energy management lab. The buildings are expected to achieve an energy performance of 50% better than Oregon code and showcase heating, cooling, and ventilation systems which create a “living laboratory”
Housing more than 30,000 square feet of strategic research clusters related to the human brain, molecular biology, nanotechnology, and solar energy, LISB was constructed to allow for collaboration between varying disciplines of science a progressive and pioneering concept in science. In addition to the extensive research space, 46 faculty offices, 10 collaborative spaces, an imaging center that includes an fMRI, a basement and penthouse comprise this four-story LEED Platinum certified building.
Pankow is the design-builder for the County of Los Angeles San Fernando Valley Family Support Center located at the intersection of Van Nuys Boulevard and Saticoy Street in the city of Van Nuys. Scope of work includes a new 212,000 SF Office Building and a new 1,326-car Parking Structure which will serve seven County departments and provide services to the public on the ground level.
A major component of the City and County of San Francisco’s Justice Facilities Improvement Program is a new Public Safety Building (PSB). The state of the art building will house the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) Police Command Center, the Southern District Police Station and a neighborhood San Francisco Fire Department (SFFD) Fire Station. The project includes a parking structure and adaptive reuse of a historic, red brick fire house. The building will be six stories with a partial basement, containing approximately 300,000 SF
