South Washington Park

IMC Construction was retained to construct two new 36-foot clear warehouse distribution buildings totaling 532,496 SF at a new speculative industrial center in Piscataway, NJ.  The project featuring two single-loaded warehouses designed with sustainable features including skylights and clearstory windows along the dock wall to bring in natural light.  The work encompasses all on and offsite improvements including new County roadways, traffic signalization, landscape and hardscape as well as all utility extensions. IMC coordinated with multiple regulatory agencies and stakeholders including Sunoco who needed to relocate one of their critical gas transmission lines.  Preconstruction cost analysis for the client involved options for both tilt-up and precast designs and alternatives to expedite the construction schedule.

Phoenix Village

IMC is currently working on Phoenix Village,a 275 unit luxury rental community built over 20,000 square feet of retail located along Bridge Street in downtown Phoenixville, PA. The two buildings will be phased construction and are each four story, wood framed, residential over one level of retail and one level of parking.

Cherry Ridge

Construction is underway for the new Cherry Ridge Apartment community in Limerick, PA. The new development will consist of 160 garden apartments within six buildings and 32 townhomes. The 37-acre site formerly known as Lansenmaier Farm will also include a community center / clubhouse and 20 acres of open space. The site design incorporated a walking trail to link North Lewis Road and Limerick Road.

King of Prussia Town Center

King of Prussia Town Center is a 12-building, 260,000-square-foot retail center located within a 125-acre mixed-use lifestyle center. In addition to retail space, the development includes up to 3,000 residential units, a parking garage, 500 hotel rooms, a special care unit of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and multiple office buildings. Construction was completed in phases beginning in 2016.

King of Prussia Mall

The largest retail space in America is about to get bigger. IMC is currently the construction manager for the King of Prussia Mall expansion. The project includes a 250,000 SF elevated connector link between The Court and The Plaza, 60 – 70 new retailers, upscale dining pavilion, customer lounge, and a new parking deck. Multiple phases and detailed protection / logistics plans will allow the mall to remain open over the two year construction schedule.

Sheraton Valley Forge

The Sheraton Valley Forge included a complete renovation to convert 360 rooms to 108 suites. A 9,000 square foot conference center addition was also built. IMC provided design-build MEP systems and extensive Building Information Modeling to insure project success. Features of the hotel include a 10,000 square foot Grand Ballroom, 13 conference rooms, 2 Executive board rooms, heated indoor pool, Ralph’s of South Philly restaurant and fitness center.

AmerisourceBergen

Tremendous growth in the Philadelphia area afforded AmerisourceBergen the opportunity to expand with a new location in Conshohocken, PA. IMC renovated the existing 70,000- squarefoot, Millennium III office building to house the new employees. Open, modern and flexible work spaces promote collaboration, inspire occupants and attract the best employees. Rich wood finishes contrast with clean white accents to create a timeless interior space that features multiple conference rooms, lunchroom, large group training room, multiple breakout areas for small group meetings and office space for 200 employees.

Widener University

The newest residence hall to the Widener campus in over 10 years provides an engaging living space for students to build a sense of community. The four-story, 73,000 SF building accommodated 200 students and offers traditional rooms with a shared bathroom and apartment style units with full kitchens. Students enjoy a central courtyard and multiple study / lounge areas. The on-site Dining Center offers Einstein Bros. Bagels and Moe’s Southwest Grill.

College Hall

IMC renovated College Hall at Montgomery County Community College. College Hall is the center piece  of campus and is the last and most significant undertaking in the school’s five year construction plan. College Hall houses the library, cafeteria, executive offices and student support facilities. The  project includes the renovation of the existing 125,000 SF and two multi-story additions. The work was done in multiple phases and performed while the building was fully occupied and functioning.

Delaware Valley University Life Sciences

IMC served as the design-builder for Delaware Valley College’s new Life Science Center. The main floor of the building includes six large classrooms, conference facility and a 450-seat auditorium. Upper levels include additional classrooms and laboratories. IMC’s Virtual Design and Construction department created a Building Information Model (BIM) that was utilized throughout the design and construction process.
