McRae Communications

Unique features are abundant throughout this communications firm, located on the 32nd floor of the Equitable Building in downtown Atlanta. Mechoshades, zodiac counter tops, a custom reception bench made from poured glass terrazzo and hand inlays, 3-Form panel feature walls, frameless doors with wood jambs, Herculite glass doors, full glass office fronts and several sidelights adorn this space. Extremely high end finishes include Bamboo wood flooring and several various types of fabric wall coverings. The lighting package is a focal point for the entire projects and includes exotic sconces, pendants, down lights, track lighting and cove lighting to accentuate this exquisite new headquarters for McRae Communications.

Hampton Hall Social Clubhouse

The Hampton Hall Social Clubhouse is a major triumph as it represents another in a long line of repeat projects for Toll Brothers. Special features include function rooms that can be separated by a folding partition, a complete commercial kitchen that allows the residents to utilize a catering service or a complete banquet prepared on the premises, a Grille and Lanai area with vaulted ceilings, stained exposed wood trusses, a center tower to let exterior light in, and shutters and screens to give the residents the feel of the outdoors without any of the drawbacks.

Choate Construction Company – Carolina’s Headquarters

Choate Construction’s new home in Charlotte is the first privately owned Commercial Interiors LEED Certified project in Mecklenburg County and emphasizes Choate’s allegiance to sustainable building. This Gold Certified office utilizes low-flow plumbing fixtures, Energy Star equipment and appliances, materials made with high amounts of recycled content and manufactured within the region, and materials that emit small if any amounts of chemicals. 2008 Charlotte Business Journal Green Awards, Green Commercial New Construction Project of the Year 2008 Mecklenburg County Construction and Demolition Waste Reduction/Recycling and Green Building Practices Award

Exempla St. Joseph Hospital Franklin Pavilion and Parking Structure

The Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital Medical Office Building and Parking Structure is a 151,122 s.f. medical office building with 5 floors above grade and 1 below grade. The cast–in-place concrete 630 care parking garage is located across the street from Saint Joseph Hospital and the new building is connected to the hospital by a pedestrian bridge.

Keyserling Cancer Center

This treatment center offers a chemotherapy suite, radiation-oncology suite, shared waiting rooms, conference rooms, and a library. The linear accelerator is contained in a specially designed poured in-place-concrete vault with lead shielding for radiation protection. Other special features include a concrete vault used as radiation protection as well as lead shielding for radiation oncology equipment, automatic entrance doors, an open two-story waiting room, and open two-story conference rooms with suspended soffits housing audio visual equipment and an operable partition.
