The Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital Medical Office Building and Parking Structure is a 151,122 s.f. medical office building with 5 floors above grade and 1 below grade. The cast–in-place concrete 630 care parking garage is located across the street from Saint Joseph Hospital and the new building is connected to the hospital by a pedestrian bridge.
This treatment center offers a chemotherapy suite, radiation-oncology suite, shared waiting rooms, conference rooms, and a library. The linear accelerator is contained in a specially designed poured in-place-concrete vault with lead shielding for radiation protection. Other special features include a concrete vault used as radiation protection as well as lead shielding for radiation oncology equipment, automatic entrance doors, an open two-story waiting room, and open two-story conference rooms with suspended soffits housing audio visual equipment and an operable partition.
