Capital Ridge Office Campus

Located immediately adjacent to the future Hotel Granduca, the Capital Ridge Office Complex is the cornerstone of this new development located just North of Bee Cave Road on Highway 360 in west Austin. The new 7-story 240,000 SF Class A office complex and 9-story parking garage is situated on the top of a hill accessed from Highway 360 utilizing a long winding road. The project also features a lobby access tunnel which will give employees and visitors access to the building lobby from the parking garage through a subterranean tunnel featuring natural line stone walls, air conditioning and wall art.

FedEx and Print Services Facility

Rogers-O’Brien has delivered the FedEx Office and Print Services Facility located in Plano, Texas. This four-story tilt wall facility will encompass 260,000 SF and will serve as a world-class facility for over 1,200 employees. This consolidated North Texas corporate headquarters for FedEx.

Westbrook Corporate Center

Located on a 40-acre site, five, 10-story towers each with 22,800 square-feet per floor. Various amenities include tennis courts, daycare center, dry cleaners, restaurants, health club, bank, physician’s offices, jogging path and 900-car indoor parking garage. Each tower is inter-connected with an indoor pedestrian concourse.

Union Stables

This renovation and seismic upgrade transformed century-old livery stables into multi-tenant office and retail space, including new LEED Platinum offices for Lewis on the fourth floor and a new fifth floor penthouse. Work also included masonry restoration, window systems, elevators, shower rooms, parking for bike commuters and new mechanical and electrical systems. Sustainability elements ranged from green roofs to automated window shades to extensive repurposing of original building elements in Lewis’ new space.

Sunoco Corporate Headquarters

IMC performed as the Construction Manager for the recladding, expansion and interior fitout to create a new corporate headquarters for Sunoco on the Ellis Preserve campus in Newtown Square, PA. The project includes a 20,000 sf addition and 240,000 sf renovation. The exterior facade will was reclad with a “Piano Key” curtain wall and over 3,000 lf of interior glass partitions and over 50,000 sf of floating ceiling clouds.

Splunk HQ Tenant Improvement

The 213,000 SF, 5-and-7-story, Class A office space will be the new home of Splunk Inc.’s headquarters. This location in the center of San Francisco’s SOMA district is one of San Francisco’s most desirable neighborhoods for Tech companies. The new space will include a Wellness/Fitness Center, rooftop deck, kitchen and food services for employees and guests, as well as co-working and meeting spaces.

SCRA Applied Technologies Center

Located within the epicenter of Charleston, South Carolina’s fast-growing I-26 corridor, the South Carolina Research Authority’s (SCRA) Applied Technologies Center is a hallmark office structure within the vibrant, self-sustaining community of Nexton in Summerville.

The three-story structural steel structure, which rests atop a geopier foundation with shallow concrete, is clad in an array of Old Savannah brick, Trespa architectural panels, ACM, and curtainwall glass. It provides the applied research company and multiple tenants with over 78,000-SF of space. Custom interior decorative Trespa panels, ceramic tile flooring, and custom pendant lighting enhance the lobby and office/conference room corridors, which each boast an open ceiling structure. A monumental staircase accents the lobby, which is also adorned by a free-standing custom orchid sculpture. Multiple high-tech conference areas, each surrounded by glass walls, are named after branches of the U.S. military (Army Room, Marine Room, etc.) to pay homage to SCRA’s clients and personnel, many of whom dutifully served. The main conference room, which overlooks the lobby, features a state-of-the-art flat panel television system. The high-tech system is capable displaying nine separate programs (in a grid-like structure) or a single program as one display for the highest level of visual impact.

Design and construction of the Applied Technologies Center highlights the talent of the design-build team dedicated to providing a high standard for sustainability, an innovative construction management approach and highly-detailed schedule control. Choate Construction’s attention to the needs of the client while expertly balancing the jobsite activities and schedule yielded the delivery of the project on time, within budget, and with best-in-class quality.

Roquette America, Inc.

The new, 2-story, 35,000 square-foot science and technology campus will provide for customer collaboration, product development, nutrition and bio-chemical research. The Roquette group family enterprise is one of the top-ranked processors of starch (N° 2 in Europe and N° 4 in the world), as well as being the world leader in polyols, pyrogen free raw materials and dry sugars.

The facility will also serve as a U.S. sales and client center for this France based company and includes six test kitchens / laboratories as well as a demonstration kitchen for showcasing new products and an auditorium with 56 capacity seating. The environmentally friendly design includes bio-swales, native vegetation and preserved farmland. The adjacent road improvements include a turn lane, deceleration lane, traffic lights and improved bike path.

Red Ventures Corporate Headquarters Campus

Choate Construction’s multiple projects for powerhouse tech company Red Ventures, including their corporate headquarters campus, are just as impressive and innovative as the rapidly-expanding company within its walls.

The building exterior combines architectural tilt-wall panels, curtainwall glass and architectural metal panels. Office areas incorporate an open floor plan and staircases to promote employee interaction and movement between floors. The core contains the main lobby, grand staircase, glass elevator, and executive office and conference areas.

Reflective of the innovate and personable spirit of the company, the facility features a full-size basketball court designed to replicate a NBA court, with a four-sided scoreboard suspended from the ceiling. Other fitness amenities include a second-floor jogging track that overlooks the court, aerobics and workout areas, and complete locker room facilities. The campus offers a full-service dining area with a kitchen, as well as indoor and outdoor seating. A beer garden, soccer field, bowling alley, two tennis counts, two beach volleyball courts, and various recreation areas also help create the ultimate “work hard, play hard” corporate campus.

Nine Two Nine Office Tower

Lewis recently completed this 19-story, 462,000 square foot Class A office tower in Downtown Bellevue. The parking garage is adjacent to the tower and partially above-grade, allowing Nine Two Nine to hit the leasing market far in advance of every competing project. The building features a prominent two-story lobby and incorporates a broad range of tenant-focused amenities. The exterior curtain wall design features a combination of high-performance glazing, precast concrete elements, and architectural metal accents. It is targeting LEED Gold certification.
