This project contains a combination of private and open offices, conference rooms, a wellness center and reception area. In addition, there are several feature walls that incorporate architectural glass elements, white board painting, branding and architectural wood wrap.
The existing occupied 75,183 square-foot office space received interior renovations plus a 19,914 square-foot addition. The addition consisted of office space and a new, larger rail command center. The existing command center was then converted into additional office space. The 215 stall parking lot also received a 73 stall expansion. The building is located on a 5.4-acre site.
This 85,000 square-foot, class A office space is located on 3 floors with an interior staircase. Received an Award of Merit from Midwest Construction in the Interior Design/Fitout category for the Best of 2003 Awards. Completed another small renovation in 2010 on two floors and in 2012 built-out a multi-purpose room and commercial catering kitchen on the 43rd floor.
Krusinski Construction Company completed the construction of a new U.S. Operations Training Center for CN Railway in Homewood, Illinois. This state-of-the-art 2-story training center will host up to 250 CN students. The facility is located adjacent to the locomotive repair center and will enhance CN’s training programs, help instill a strong safety culture and reinforce new skills while upgrading existing expertise. The center was constructed over an old railroad turntable and roundhouse.
The Chicago area is CN’s largest freight hub in North America and suburban Homewood is home to CN’s U.S. headquarters.
Krusinski Construction Company renovated and expanded the existing wound care and walk-in clinic to accommodate a new pediatric outpatient center. The new Delnor Hospital space includes: six exam rooms, two procedure rooms, clinical offices and a welcoming reception and lobby area.
5,000 square-foot buildout includes endoscopy rooms, recovery bays, clean and soiled utility rooms, physician offices, a waiting area, a nurses’ station and a break room.
Magnetrol relocated their worldwide headquarters to Aurora, Illinois to accommodate its more than 300 employees. Chicago-based Krusinski Construction Company renovated this 250,000 square-foot building which required a significant electrical service upgrade, renovation of more than 60,000 square-feet of office space, conversion of warehouse space to manufacturing and production with multiple cranes, specific equipment exhaust and make-up air requirements.

Krusinski Construction Company renovated and expanded the existing building to support the liquid flavoring operation for Flavorchem Corporation. The project included: construction of general office space, flammable warehouse, three production rooms, locker and break rooms, research and development labs and conference rooms. The scope also included establishing a link between two buildings on the campus. The project achieved LEED Silver Certification.
15,000 square-foot training facility includes 3 large training rooms and 12 training bays with specialty equipment for servicing cars, as well as support service areas for storage, break rooms and office. Will achieve LEED Silver designation.
