Wilshire Boulevard Temple Renovation & Parking Structure

Pankow provided preconstruction and construction services for Phase 1B of the Wilshire Boulevard Temple Master Plan.

The project consisted of a partial renovation of the historic 1929 School Building, a complete renovation of the 1962 School Building, rework of a portion of the 1st floor of the 1962 Administration building, and the site work associated with the areas surrounding the two schools.

The new parking structure was constructed concurrently with the school renovations.

The West Hollywood Edition Hotel & Residences

Pankow is providing preconstruction and construction services for this 190-room hotel and residences building with 20 luxury residential units on the top floors. Building amenities include two rooftop pools – one exclusively designated for residents and one for hotel guests – along with a rooftop bar and lounge. Buildings consist of two distinct, yet interconnected towers, 10- and 14-stories above grade with fall-height sliding glass walls.

Other amenities include a nightclub on Level B1, a full-service restaurant with a highly-acclaimed executive chef, a full-service spa as well as meeting and banquet halls. The lobby features a magnificent area with floor-to-ceiling windows and natural lighting. Residents can take advantage of a private entrance and lobby.

The Village at Santa Monica

Pankow provided preconstruction and construction services for this 324-unit (a mix of affordable and market-rate housing) residential and retail development off Ocean Avenue with a three-level, below-grade parking garage.

This three-acre site is located in the heart of Santa Monica’s Civic Center which is adjacent to the town City Hall and Courts, hotels, commercial structures and a proposed garden park. In a city with Santa Monica’s density, a well-organized community input process plays a key role in resolving different views and helps to give the project a more particular Santa Monica identity.

The Emerson

Pankow built this stunning 20-story high-rise residential tower with four levels of parking. The ground level is occupied by a restaurant, cafe, main lobby, technology center, office space and a fitness center. Levels 2 thru 18 are occupied primarily by residential dwelling units and accessory building service rooms such as trash rooms and electrical closets. Level 19, the Penthouse level, is occupied by a large rooftop terrace, a party room, a kitchen, dwelling units, and accessory building service rooms. There are 271 residential apartment units – market rate and affordable.

Splunk HQ Tenant Improvement

The 213,000 SF, 5-and-7-story, Class A office space will be the new home of Splunk Inc.’s headquarters. This location in the center of San Francisco’s SOMA district is one of San Francisco’s most desirable neighborhoods for Tech companies. The new space will include a Wellness/Fitness Center, rooftop deck, kitchen and food services for employees and guests, as well as co-working and meeting spaces.

San Francisco War Memorial Veterans Building

This $99 million dollar project restores a once vital historic civic asset into a vibrant stage and venue for The Arts and Veterans Organizations. This reconstruction/renovation project contributes to the vitality of the Civic Center District reflecting the values of San Francisco’s residents and the City’s leadership. All work on the Project complies with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties including the

DPW’s commitment to the stewardship of the historic resources within the

Civic Center Historic District. The space includes the 916-seat Herbst Theatre and the San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery.

This project is one of the first large hospital projects using Lean Construction Delivery with a Fully Integrated Project Delivery Team. Pankow is a Core Team member and the Structural Concrete Trade Partner on this project. The general Contractor is Herrero Boldt.

North Hills Wellness Center

Pankow provided design-build services for the County of Los Angeles North Hills Wellness Center. Scope of work included design and construction of a new 13,323 SF single-story facility comprised 9 exam rooms, 4 dental rooms, 4 laboratories, 4 clinician offices, 2 nurse’s stations as well as a special procedure room, psychiatrist’s office, pharmaceutical dispensary, 3 counseling offices, 2 optometry offices, retail store and two health education and training rooms.

Metropolis Phase 2 Residential Tower 3

Pankow is partnered with PENTA to build this 56-story high-rise residential tower in downtown Los Angeles. Headquartered in China, Greenland USA is seeking the expertise of Pankow-PENTA JV to build this project successfully as well as procure overseas materials.

Located on the north side of the site along Eighth Street, Pankow-PENTA JV will construct the Phase 2 Residential Tower 3 with retail comprised of 775 condominium units and 63 floors (approximately 671 feet tall including the podium). With up to 853,309 SF of floor area, Tower 3 tower will have an associated amenity deck on the roof of the podium. The deck features a pool, roof garden, and fitness center for exclusive use by tower residents. The building will also have a smaller deck on the roof of this tower’s lower stack on or near the 26th floor.

McClintock Building

Pankow teamed with SKS Partners, Pfau Long Architects and Murphy Burr Curry Structural Engineers to re-envision the former Jessica McClintock headquarters in the SOMA district of San Francisco. Working from the due diligence stage to assist SKS Investments with the purchase of the building, Pankow and the rest of the team is working to reinvent a PDR (Produce, Distribute, Repair) zoned space. The building has been demoltioned back to a core and shell condition and is being rebuilt using a fast track permitting and phased construction process so that the project will be completed in 7 months.

 

Los Angeles Valley College Community Services Center

Pankow provided design-build services for Los Angeles Valley College’s Community Services Center. The new building is made up of three functional zones: Instructional zone with dividable lecture hall, computer lab and arts and crafts teaching spaces. Activity zone with gymnastics center and two large multi-purpose rooms for rock wall climbing, dance, yoga, martial arts, community wellness and student activities Administrative zone with community services program, support spaces and offices.
