Lewis built this Health Professions Campus in two phases. Phase I included a five-story facility to house health professions graduate programs, the Virginia Garcia Clinic and a pharmacy. During Phase II, Lewis constructed an adjacent building which accommodates 700 students and 80 faculty and staff members. To achieve LEED Gold certification Lewis employed green building practices, including recycling 97% of construction waste (Phase I) and a rainwater harvesting system, which has helped to reduce water consumption by nearly 50%.
